How is this Different?

Traditional impressions risks include:

- Issues from incorrect use of impression materials possibly leading to attachment of impression material to sensitive parts of the ear including the ear drum

- Creating a sealed pressure chamber, risking ear health and function if not properly depressurised, possible perforation of the ear drum

- Potential for ear canal distortion and damage possibly leading to abrasions in the ear canal. Think of your ear canal like a cave with a narrow entrance leading to a wider space, impressions can be tricky to remove once they harden in this larger area. forcing a larger object through a small cave entrance.

Custom ear products are superior for performance, but traditional impression methods pose risks. They distort the ear's shape, leading to discomfort, our process removes the use of impression materials completely.

Audiologists agree:

Improved Outcomes

At 92.7% customer fit acceptance rate this year, we far exceed the industry’s standard of 70-75%, minimising the need for product returns and adjustments. Without impression materials  changing the ear shape there are less risks to pressure artefacts being formed in products.
